I decided to attempt to use Adobe after effects for my title sequence. So I expereimented with text and shapes by changing their opacity, scale and colour throughout the timeline. I was able to get to grips with the basics through YouTube and this experimentation. I will have to experiment further to decide if I would be able to create my whole title sequence using this software.

Idea 2: Banshee
Idea 3: Vampire
Idea 4: Werewolf
Development
I have chosen to use my vampire idea with the torso of a mannequin as I feel that it is the better idea and I already have a plan formed for the process of making the title sequence. I have drawn out some more frames so that I will have a better idea of the full sequence that I want to create. The blank boxes indicate where the actor/actress' names will go.

Getting started
I started this with taking over 300 photos of a mannequin whilst I manueveured and poured red paint down the torso. I then put almost all of these photos into photoshop to create the main part of the video. I have included screenshots of the key frames within the video. I am going to add in the text, audio and edits in Adobe After Effects.

After Effects
I used After Effects to add in an intro, actor/actress' names, outro and title. I also drew a bat in different stages of flight and added it to the outro to make it look as if it flies across the screen as the title appears.
